All days from today to Jun. 3 (Tue), Gondola, Nakiyama 3, and Sakka Kitaone Quad start the operation from 7:30 a.m., earlier than usual. In the morning, due to the strong wind and snowfall of yesterday, the slope opened a little bit late, many people queued in front of Gondola.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
From yesterday, one of the most famous courses in Happo, Riesen Slalom Course opens! The total length of the slope is 3045m, the incline average is 20 degrees and the maximum incline is 30 degrees, so it was long and steep slopes, half of which was groomed. At the upper part the fresh snow, which fell yesterday night, was about 20cm and it was groomed. The snow condition was tight and powdery.

After the middle part, due to the artificial snow, the trail was a little bit stiff, and at the bottom, the snow of Usuba was peculiarly hard due to the artificial snow. At the middle and bottom, the snowfall was not enough, so I saw some bushes. Be careful not to damage the skis.

Anyway that’s Riesen! It was enough challenging to have a fun, and it was impressed me that mainly the advanced players skied with speed. Among the visitors from Hyogo and Osaka, the children was the first time to ski today. After that, although the time of sunshine became longer, but the wind was strong at the top of mountain, so from 9:00 a.m. Skyline temporally stopped the operation.
