It’s raining, but here we go!! Students from Okayama Pref. posed me cheerfully, even after a long trip of 12 hours! At the slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad, the edges of skies cut into the snow too deeply because of the damp and soft snow, so people slowed down there.

Panorama Course was also damp but groomed so well that I could ski comfortably this early morning. Besides, I hardly found bushes in the upper part on the skier’s left side across Kokusai No.3 Pair, while the thin snow changed its color by the rain on the skier’s right.

Although it was not so cold and the temperature was 3 degrees, I felt cold because of the rain. At Sun Terrace Panorama, you can have coffee at JPY100 until 10:00 a.m. The hot and flavorful coffee made me warm and relaxed. There is a stove in the restaurant and you can dry your gloves and knits.

The rain changed into fine snow around 10:00 a.m. However, this rain made the snow melt rapidly, especially in the beginning and middle parts. The melted snow was heavy and not good to ski, so people chose the other slopes.
