We have a few days in 2016. In this season, Happo opened on Dec. 8 (Thu) and the heavy snow fell on Dec. 10 (Sat), so they began the operation in the best condition. But due to the warmth from Dec. 19(Mon) to Dec. 23(Fri), now the only 4 slopes are available. In the morning, the sunshine was sometimes calm.

Along Kurobishi Quad, there were groomed to the end of Kurobishi 3. It impressed me that the advanced player skied fast at the carving turn. The dried snow became properly tight and the edge bit the snow comfortably.

The upper of Usagidaira was stiff because of the artificial snow, so the patterns of corduroy was not broken by the edge easily. From the middle to the lower parts, the snow was properly soft, but there were some bushes at the steep slope. At Panorama Course, where the snow groomed completely and exceeded even Kurobishi Quad. So I saw many people at Kurobishi and Panorama.

Bakery Cafe of Usagidaira Terrace opens from 8:00 a.m. Until 10:00 a.m. one cup of coffee costs 100 JPY. From this season, you can buy corona beer, but T.Y.HARBOR (wheat ale, pale ale and imperial stout, 750 JPY each) are also popular. T.Y.HARBOR is a craft beer which is brewed at the own brewery in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
