Happo-one / △80cm / Sunny2016.Dec.19

It was sunny since yesterday and balmy without wind this morning. While I was taking Gondola, I saw Panorama Course on the right, where the snow was entirely compacted! I saw the people, who came out from Usagidaira Terrace, bound on their skis and went to Panorama without any hesitation.

I saw many people on skier’s left (the left side looking from the summit) across from Kokusai 3, on the other hand, few people on skier’s right (the right side looing from the summit). But just you’d expected from Happo, it became full of ski tracks only for 30 minutes. Even after that, the flat condition was kept and we could ski comfortably.

Two non-staying visitors from Shizuoka talked to me. According to them, they can’t satisfy with any local ski slopes, such as Yeti, Fujiten, and Kamuimisaka, so come to Happo. At Kurobishi, I could see beautiful Shirouma sanzan at the fine sky.

There were 30cm moguls at steep slopes along Alpen Quad. At the first glance, it seemed soft, but actually the foundation was stiff and it was difficult to ski. It didn’t have much snow at some areas of upper and middle parts, but it was no matter to ski at the compacted area of Usagidaira.
