We had only few snow again in spite of that the weather forecast said it would be snowy this morning. The sun cast the soft sunlight and the sea of clouds spread out in the east at early time. However, it was blowing a cold wind from Northern Alps and very cold with a temperature of -8 degrees.

This morning, the south area of Usagidaira and the slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad were not groomed. In Kurobishi, the firm slope was covered with 2cm fresh snow. An expert skier who gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!” showed me his skillful turns.

There were no bushes in the slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad. By the way, only the north part of Panorama Course was groomed where the artificial snowing machines worked hardly.

After that, snowing clouds were coming from the west and it started to fall fine snow. Tall bushes and grass were getting exposed in the south area of Usagidaira, so we hope it will snow heavily as forecast until tomorrow. The ungroomed area along Alpen Quad was covered with hard bumps and in difficult condition.
