Happo-one / △75cm / Snowy & Sunny2016.Dec.15
It was forecast to be snowy until this morning, but the blue sky spread out before the ski area was open. However, the clouds were blew away by a strong wind and they blocked off the sunlight. Australians who live in Hakuba kindly posed me in Panorama Course.

The coldest wave is coming over Japan and it was very cold, -9 degrees, in this morning. There were icy parts especially in upper Usagidaira, while the slope was groomed well. Hard snow balls were rolling on the run as well, so it was in difficult condition, but experts showed us their beautiful skiing and snowboarding.

Panorama Course was busiest in this morning. The groomed run was flat and nicely firm, so the edges of my skies worked well. The steep slope in the lower part was bumpy, but it did not matter for skiing.

The ungroomed slope along Alpen Quad was covered with shallow bumps with thin fresh snow. I found only a few people trying to ski down there because the snow ground was very hard. The light snow had stopped after a while and the sunlight was cast more and more around 9:30 a.m.
