The temperature in Usagidaira was not so cold, -2 degrees, so it was a good day in spite of snowing. Damp snow like sleet was falling in the mountain foot, but the upper parts from Panorama Course had fine snow. 5－8cm fresh damp snow covered the gloomed slope in Usagidaira.

The slope got rough soon because of the snow easy to harden. However, Happo always has a lot of experts and they enjoyed high-speed skiing and snowboarding in the morning. In the begining and middle parts of the south slope of Usagidaira, I found snow less than the other part and some bushes.

Until 10:00 a.m. when I climbed down, the weather changed quickly like that sometimes it got thickly foggy, the soft sunlight was cast and the clouds broke up. Besides, it kept snowing for a long while.

Panorama Course got very crowded with people after 9:0 a.m. The 5cm fresh snow was stepped soon and the slope became flat enough for easily skiing and snowboarding.
