Today, Alpen-quad (shown in the picture) at 9:00 am, Kurobisi-No.2 quad at 9:10 am, started working. Usagidaira and Kurobishi slope have become available in addition to Panorama Course. A northwesterly wind was so strong and cold that I felt frozen when I got off the Alpen-quad.

Usagidaira slope was not compacted at all. The texture of snow was very good. Although the amount of fresh snow last night was about 30cm, I could enjoy the deep powder snow because the snow that we had had until then was “kept”.

The area along the Kurobishi-No.2 pair lift was groomed well by Pisten and there was soft powder snow that is easy to ski on. I could ski comfortably and I thought it must be good to warm up for the ski season. Many people said to me, “The snow is good.” or “It’s good that ski season got off to a good start!”

I had been afraid that ski would be damaged, however, I didn’t see any bush on the slope. So I could ski steep slope along the Alpen-quad without worrying. There was only about 10cm snowfall at the foot of the mountain. So I’m surprised the difference from the top of the mountain all over again.
