From today, the gondola starts working at 8:00 a.m. From the early morning, the wet snow began fall. The amount of the fresh snow is about 7cm on the slope. The upper of Panorama Course, which was compacted, has some icy part at the foundation, but generally it was tight and in good condition.

Heavy drops of snow fell and there was thick fog in the early morning. But it melted gradually, and we have no problem to ski. As to restaurant, Sunterrace Panorama (the picture) and Usagidaira Terrace open from 8:30 a.m.

The steep slope at the bottom of Panorama Course was not compacted, and there were some bushes. The rugged foundation was a little bit stiff. It was memorable that players controlled their skis well. The players from Shiojiri city, who have already snowboarded 4 times this season, said happily, ‘It’s our first time to snowboard on the fluffy snow!’

The sleety snow had fallen at Sakka Slope. At the upper of the ski slopes, the amount of snow increases on track, but at the bottom part, it melted a little. According to the weather forecast, the snow likely to cover all the ground soon. By the way, on this weekend, Usagidaira and Kurobishi will open!
