The weather was beautiful on the second day of the Golden Week. Not only skiers and snowboarders but also mountain climbers were taking the gondola at 7:30. Today the available ski areas were only 2 courses, Kurobishi and Panorama.

Thanks to artificial snow making in January and February, there was enough snow in Panorama Course. The run was well groomed, so I could make turns comfortably in the early morning. However, the good condition didn’t last long.

There were a lot of avid “Happo fans” who came all the way to Hakuba. I had seen these skiers in the same T-shirts with Hakuba village official character on before. I appreciate everyone who gave me the watchword, ” I always enjoy your reports!”

The snow was getting less and less even along Kurobishi No.2 Quad, though I could still enjoy skiing in the groomed run. Finally, this Ski Area Report is over today. Special thanks for reading it during the 2015-16 season.
