High-speed Pair Lift No.5 starts running at 8:30 am every day, although it used to start at 1 pm before Mar.4 (Thu). We had fog and strong west wind, and the weather was unpredictable today. It was raining, but the sun sometimes appeared from behind the clouds.

A thick layer of granular snow was packed but getting melting on Rabbit Course as of 10 am (pictured). My skis ran fast, although my ski edges dug into the snow. I saw middle-sized moguls were lined up on the skier’s left side.

Groomed granular snow was crunchy on the upper Highway Course, while the snow was a bit loose on the lower Highway Course and Kamoshika Course (pictured). On the other hand, groomed granular snow was wet on Wakaguri Chuo Course and Wakagurin Rinkan Course.

“I check your reports regularly. It’s warm today. I have a speaker in my backpack and I’m listening to mellow Japanese traditional mellow songs, So this is a trademark pose of Sabu-chan (Saburo Kitajima).”, a snowboarder coming with his three friends said (pictured left). Hakunori was filled with a peaceful atmosphere, although it was crowded from the morning.
