Hakuba Norikura / ◎190cm / Snowy2021.Feb.18
The snow was being blown away by the gentle north wind around 10 am. I saw some people skiing/snowboarding the southern self-responsibility area in Highway Course. “I check your website regularly. I often come to Hakunori or Cortina when we have snow”, a snowboard from Hakuba Village said (pictured).

The groomed powder snow was blanketed with 3~5 cm of new snow on Wakaguri Chuo Slope (pictured) and Wakaguri Rinkan Course. There was about 20 cm of new snow on the groomed Highway Course. The new snow was gradually packed in the upper area. I found lots of ski/snowboard tracks in the lower area.

Mogul Course was maintained by endorsed skiers, although moguls had been completely covered in snow. Skiers were practicing jumping, which reminded me of the ski competition held the other day.

“We offer both ski and snowboard lessons. Why don’t you join?” I saw two instructors at Hakuba Norikura Ski School (pictured), who were taking a day off. Hakuba Norikura Ski School is located in front of No.5 High-speed Pair Lift and No.6 Pair Lift, and opens at 9 am.
