The groomed runs were great today, as the two snowboarders said. The powdery snow was soft on all the groomed runs, except for Sky View Slope, Snake Course, and Expert Course. No.10 Pair Lift service was delayed for inspection this morning.

Hakuba Norikura Ski School is offering a special lesson, 2021 Hakunori Special Demo Camp, during this three-day holiday. There were two instructors; Mr. Hitoshi Matsuzawa (the second skier on the right in the photo), a SAJ national demonstrator belonging to Hakuba Norikura Ski School, and Ms.Seika Matsuzawa, who won nine consecutive technical skiing championships from 2002 to 2010.

I saw Mr.Takuma Oike, who is a Patagonia Skiing Ambassador and runs a lodge in Satomi area. “Hi, how are you? I’m giving a lesson to my regular visitor’s children”, he said. He is a top-level skier at home and abroad. What a great opportunity it is! I wish I could have joined them.
