The weather recovered and the sun was pleasant from the morning. Wakaguri Chuo slope was in a tight, slippery compact snow condition! Despite the continued rainfall yesterday, the snow was thin and the soil was visible only in one area in the middle and near the base area.

Rabbit course of compacted snow was harder, and some snowballs were seen early in the course. While advanced players turned smoothly at a certain rhythm, some beginner snowboarders did not fall well on the edges, and sometimes flowed while falling.

Two people from Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, said, “I’ve come to the Hakuba area several times. This time I stayed at the Hakuba Alps Hotel for the first time and skated for the first time.” The first half of the highway course, where soil and bushes were conspicuous, was undulating, and the second half of the highway was moderately loose and soft snow compaction.

Bush and soil were seen in the middle and late stages of the loose snow antelope course. Hakunori Family Course (pictured) was not so loose after 10:30 and was “moderately soft” compacted snow. There were children riding sleds, mixed with slow beginners.
