Hakuba Norikura / ◎140cm / Snowy & Sunny2020.Feb.10

20021001_hakunoriThe blue sky and the sun, which had been seen in the early morning, were hidden around 8:00a.m. , and snow began to flow around 9:00a.m. . A beautiful slope was created on the Skyview slope, which was closed all day in consideration of the danger of an avalanche yesterday (photo). Before the opening, the 10th pair had a long line of visitors seeking powder snow.

20021002_hakunoriSkyview’s fresh snow volume was over 50cm and was as expected! Yesterday’s wind made the snow a bit heavy, but when I slipped, I enjoyed the fluffy feel and the outstanding floating feeling. While cheers were coming and going, some people struggled to fall and get up.

20021003_hakunoriThe vast slopes were quickly filled with spurs, and the rough spots were a little bumpy. Visitors who enjoyed the Skyview slopes then went to the tree area. By the way, the expert course has opened today on the Wakaguri slope!

20021004_hakunoriSatomi Chuo Slope (pictured), the Wakaguri Chuo Slope, and the Wakaguri Rinkan Course were in compacted snow conditions where powder snow was moderately tight. I was able to ride the speed comfortably with the edge. After that, the snowfall became stronger around 11 am.
