Alps No.3 High-speed Pair Lift has started working today and Highway Course has opened! The upper area of the Highway Course was getting rough with lots of ski tracks as of 10:00 a.m. However, I was fully able to enjoy the light new snow, which is about 10-15cm.

Meanwhile, there was over 20 cm of soft snow layer, including snow that had been kept until yesterday and new snow that started to accumulate today. I enjoyed floating feeling while running down at high speed, and raising a cloud of snow while turning.

It snowed silently and there was over 10cm of new snow at some places at Wakaguri Chuo area, which is well groomed. The foudation had been expected to be hard, however, it was soft actually. It seemed difficult for beginners to get up speeds on the slope.

Hakunori Family Course was also covered with new and soft. It is a very gentle slope, having an inclination of 10° at maximum and 5° on average. Children who lost speed at the middle area were trying to ski down, using their stocks.
