Hakuba Goryu / ○185cm / Cloudy2020.Mar.28
The fog was thick today after the rain yesterday. Many people arrived early today as it was a weekend. “We look forward to your reports. We’re coming to Hakuba Goryu & Hakuba47 every weekend. This is our 40th time here this season!”, two snowboarders coming from Aichi said.
[Panorama Course]
The compacted granular snow was wet in Panorama Course. My skis ran smoothly, however, I saw people skiing and snowboarding slowly because of the thick fog. There is still much snow in Alps Daira, although the snow is gradually melting.

The granular snow was also wet in Grand Prix Course. I saw people carving turns with great speed as there were many advanced skiers and snowboarders. The ground was partially uncovered with snow in the upper area of Dynamic Course, while the snow layer was partially thin in the middle area. About 3 cm of hard granular snow was getting loose.
[Grand Prix Course]
The snow was nicely wet with no bushes in Woody Course. The clouds around me cleared by the time I reached Sky 4 Lift station. Toomi Slope was also covered with much wet snow, including artificial snow, and there were no bushes on the skiers’ left side.
