Hakuba Goryu / ○190cm / Snowy2020.Mar.20
It was windy and rainy at the mountain foot last evening. The rain turned to snow late at night and it started to snow heavily at dawn. The fine snow was falling heavily and the fresh snow was 7~8 cm deep when I got off Goryu Telecabin, which started working on time.

The snow gradually got intense. The fresh snow was about 20 cm deep when I went to Grand Prix Course around 8:40 a.m. The non-granular powder snow was nicely firm and smooth in Panorama Course (pictured in the first photo). The non-compacted fresh snow was rough in Grand Prix Course (pictured) and I saw lots of ski tracks.

I saw three snowboarders from Fukuoka and another from Osaka (pictured left). They told me that they met in Osaka and came together by car. “We look forward to your reports. We’re glad to see you! The snow is not good in western Japan. We’ll stay in Goryu47 for the coming three days.”, they said.
[Champion Dynamic Course]
More than 20 cm of fresh snow was rough but hard in Dynamic Course at 9 a.m. About 15 cm of fresh snow was wet and loose in Soft Cream Course. A family coming from Tokyo was playing with sleigh using the moving walkway in Family Land Iimori, where there were few people (pictured).
