Hakuba Goryu / ◎180cm / Cloudy & Snowy 2020.Mar.08

20030801_goryu47The wet snow was falling lightly when I got off Goryu Telecabin. The corduroy patterns were still visible over the slope as it just started snowing. It was warm and there was no wind, although the sky was grey.

20030802_goryu47The snow was fine and granular in Alps Daira, while it was firm and smooth in Panorama Course. I enjoyed gaining speed in Panorama Course. Snowboarders waved their hands to me from Alps No.1 Pair Lifts. They showed me snowboarding in a single file and carving with one hand touching the snow.

20030803_goryu47The snow was good both in Grand Prix and Panorama Course but there were more people in Grand Prix Course. I saw many people taking Alps No.3, No.2 Pair and No.4 Pair Lifts. I enjoyed carving turns in the rough hard snow.

I went down Dynamic Course, Woody Course, and Toomi Slope. The snow was loose along Toomi No.2 Pair and in the lower area. In Iimori Slope, the snow was melting and the ground was exposed. Meanwhile, there was sufficient snow in Powder Snow, Soft Cream, and Maryland Course and I enjoyed skiing down at ease.
