Sunrise skiing & snowboarding service started at Toomi Slope, the area along Sky Four Lifts, which are covered with enough snow, yesterday. You can enjoy it if you have a 1-day ticket etc. (except for PM tickets, night skiing tickets and night skiing season tickets). The slope was crowded as it was the middle day of the three-day holiday. Expert Course, which is on the left side of the photo, also opened yesterday.

We had snow in Alps Daira late last night. The groomed slope of Panorama, Grand Prix and the upper Route8 was covered with 1–2 cm of dry fresh snow. I enjoyed gaining speeds on the flat Panorama Course, covered with soft fresh snow.

I saw lots of advanced skiers & snowboarders making big turns at Grand Prix Course. I headed for Toomi Slope through Dynamic Course and Woody Course, which were in similar conditions. Toomi Slope was crowded with people from beginners to advanced skiers & snowboarders. It was nice, although there were lots of trails left.

Sunny Way Course and Powder Snow Course opened yesterday, although the amount of snow is not enough on Iimori Slope with some bushes and ground exposed. “I left home at 2 a.m. today. I’m glad the slope finally opened. I hope we’ll have more snow.”, a skier coming from Aichi prefecture, who was the first passenger on Cosmo Four lift said. (See the photo.)
