The snow gradually got hard from the morning and it was falling quietly at 9 a.m. Route4 was compacted hard, covered by 1-2 of wet, fresh snow (See the photo). I saw intermediate and advanced skiers/snowboarders enjoying 4m-box and 4m-PVC pipe.

The compacted snow was soft but nicely firm at the upper area of Route1 and Route8. I saw advanced skiers/snowboarders gaining speed and going fast on 1-2 cm of surface fresh snow.

“Rescue Wax” provided waxing service for free yesterday and today (9 a.m.~3 p.m.) beside Gondola Line-8 Sancho Station. The compacted snow was nicely firm at Route5 and very firm at Route6, which was nice.

The compacted snow was nicely firm at the lower part of Route8 and very firm at Route1. It was warm today, however, the course condition was good overall. The slope was crowded even before 10 a.m. as it’s New Year’s Holiday. People were waiting for 3~4 mins at Line-C station and 10~15 mins at Gondola Line-8.
