Goryu &47 / ○50cm / Cloudy & Sunny2019.Dec.22

19122201_goryu47I had an interview at Route2 for the first time this season as we didn’t have much snow at the middle and lower area. I could see the ridge of the Northern Alps clearly today. Meanwhile, the slope was in the shade and the air felt chilly. “I wonder if we would have enough snow during New year’s holiday. Anyway, happy new year!”, an instructor at Hakuba Goryu Ski School said.

19122202_goryu47Route2 (1,620m, an avarage inlcine of 18°, a maximum gradient of  30°) was non-compacted. Bushes were exposed near some of the firm small bumps, however, they were okay. I skied down carefully at the middle and bottom area so that my skis wouldn’t get damanged because the slope was icy with many bushes.

“We’re coming skiing for the first time this season. We checked the website “Snownavi” and decided to come. here.. Oh! What a coincidence! You’re a staff member at Snownavi, aren’t you?”, a couple coming from Ina City, Nagano said, which made me smile. All courses were non-compacted except for Panorama Course this morning.
