Restaurant Alice in Hakuba47 offers free coffee this season too from 7 to 8 a.m. on weekdays and from 6 to 8 a.m. on weekends and holidays. You can chill out in the warm, big restaurant, enjoying a cup of coffee, before the slope opens.

It was flurrying when I got off Gondola Line-8. Trees were all white covered with rime at the upper area. Alps Daira will be closed today and tomorrow due to the inspection (Telecabin will be available only for sightseeing.) The slope was empty at 8 a.m. as there were no visitors from Goryu.
[Upper area of Route1]
Rain and snow was frozen hard at the upper area of Route1. Ski and snowboard tracks were left there, covered with 2 cm of fresh wet snow, which was difficult to ski down. Bushes were exposed at the middle area of Route1 and Route6, which was more difficult.

“We enjoy your reports! Route4 is the best today.”, four snowboarders each from different part of Nagano (photo) said. Route4 was smooth with little bushes, compared to other courses. I saw people going down Roue4 again and again, using Line-A.
