Goryu &47 / △65cm / Sunny2019.Dec.09
It was a beautiful morning. It was chilly with the temperature at -4 degree at Hakuba47, although it was sunny. I saw the snow shape of “Takedabishi” on the side of Mt. Goryu as well as the winter Shirouma Sanzan from Line-E Station. I enjoyed making turns at Route8, which was nicely packed.
[Route8]
Route 8 was the only course compacted. The snow on the surface was powdered because of ski edges at the upper area of Route1. People were sliding down slowly and carefully as there were some ups and downs. I found bushes on the lower steep slope leading to Route6.
[Upper Area of Route1]
I enjoyed skiing at Route4 as it was empty, although it was as in good condition as the upper area of Route1. There were small artificial snow mountains on the side of Line-A. I found some bushes at Route5, however, it was okay compared to the day before yesterday.
[Route4]
Snow was dry at Panorama Course and Grand Prix Course, and my skis ran smoothly except for the rough part. By the way, “2019 Hakuba Ski & Snowboard Swap” will be held at Escal Plaza on December 14 (Sat) and 15 (Sun). More that 500 snow items, including both new and second-hand ones, will be discounted.
