Goryu&47 / ×15cm / Snowy & Sunny2019.Nov.30

19113001_goryu47It’s been snowing since the midnight of November 27 (Thu) due to the cold air mass. As had been expected, there was a heavy snowfall last night. The day broke, the sky cleared, and I found Hakuba Goryu (in the photo) and Hakuba 47 covered with snow.

19113002_goryu47There was about 5 cm of fresh snow at Toomi Slope. The temperature was -1.5℃ at Goryu Telecabin Sanroku Station. It was not very chilly with sunlight and no wind. The latest artificial snowfall machine was working at Toomi Slope, making a roaring sound.

19113003_goryu47The slope, which was green until yesterday, turned all white in one night. Snow was about 15 ~ 18 cm deep at Alps Daira this morning. At Hakuba47, artificial snowfall machine started to work last night. Both slopes are aimed to open during the first week of December.

19113004_goryu47The depth of fresh snow reached 5 cm at Powder Snow Course (in the photo), Soft Cream Course and Merry Land Course, too. However, I found bushes here and there as there were tall grass on the slope. According to the weather forecast, the weather will improve and it will be warm tomorrow, although it will be snowy again after that.
