It was one of the coldest day this season with the hardest snowstorm. It was a middle of weekday and less Japanese people were up on the slope in this morning but I met many international visitors. Route 5, 6,and 7, all of them were flat with powder snow, were in very good conditions.

I headed over to Route 3 by Line-C which started operating at 9:00 a.m.. Surprisingly, over 70 cm powder snow from yesterday waited for us! It was pretty hard to get out of fluffy snow once I fell down. I felt the gap between me and the advanced who went by making snow spray.

Route 1 had 20 cm fresh snow on the groomed slope which was a great condition so that I could enjoy it. But the sight was bad with thick fog and snowing. The bottom was clear to see around but a part of the slope became bumpy.

“I know your website.” said a lady from Australia while I was on Line-C. She said she rented an apartment at the village this season and stays there. She seemed she was surprised with the cold. When I told her the condition of Route 3, she got excited and she was headed over there.
