Cortina / ◎320cm / Snowy2018.Jan.25
The heaviest snowfall in this season has been continuing. No.4 and No.5 Pair were closed for the day due to danger of avalanche and too deep snow. No.3 Quad opened on schedule. When I arrived at the mountain ridge by the lift, the northern wind was strong and it was very freezing.
[Kamoshika Course]
At Kamosika Course, the steep slope at the bottom of ski resort, there was over 60 cm of new snow including the snow of yesterday. The close of top of slope was announced at an early stage in Facebook of Cortina. Therefore the slopes were not crowded and I could enjoy fresh powder snow for long time.
[Kamoshika Course]
Rabbit Course was groomed, moderately firm and covered with 3-5 centimeters of fresh snow and it nice to ski there. Ikenota was also groomed wide and flat and in a good condition. There were a lot of students in their school trip.
[Rabbit Course]
The steep non-groomed slope at the upper part of Warabidaira slope was covered with 60 centimeters of new snow and I could enjoy fluffy powder snow. After I enjoyed soft and deep powder snow, I skied with long turns on gentle slope at the bottom which was groomed nicely.
