It was clear without wind this morning. I felt literally “chilly” because of radiation cooling before the lifts started working. However, it got warm as the sunshine got stronger. But the clouds covered the ridges of the Northern Alps.

Grand Prix Course was widely groomed and the powder snow was nicely firm. I was able to enjoy carving skiing. Advanced skiers skied down many times with wide turns at high speed, using Alps No.3 Pair Lift.

Dynamics Course was also nicely firm and in good condition. A couple from Kanagawa Prefecture gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports! We’re going to stay 2 nights and 3 days until Christmas Eve. It’s a great day with snow of high-quality in the fine weather!”

As I descended to Woody and Toomi in the lower area, I felt the slope got firmer. When I went further down Powder Snow and Soft Cream Course, it got much firmer. Anyway, Christmas events are going to be held in various places of the slope tomorrow and day after tomorrow. In addition, night skiing will open at Toomi from tomorrow.
