Wet snow was falling quietly with the north wind blowing at 8 am. Snow in the base area had melted due to a little rain last night. However, it has got cold since last evening and it has snowed again as we expected. Both slope and access road look so good with snow that I cannot believe it’s still in mid-November.

After hiking up Ikenota Slope for a few minutes, I measured the amount of snow at several points. I was surprised that there was 25-30 cm of snow. It seems the northern area of HAKUBA VALLEY has had more snow this time under a cold wave.
