Cortina / ◎300cm / Cloudy2017.Jan.28

16012801_cortinaThe weather forecast proved wrong and it was snowing lightly at around 8:30 a.m. In the upper areas, the slopes were covered with thin fresh snow, but the ungroomed areas such as Kamoshika Course were in difficult condition because rough slopes were frozen as they were.We hardly had the sunlight, but it blew no wind so I did not feel cold.
[Kamoshika Course]
16012802_cortinaIt was raining in the south part of HAKUBA VALLEY, but Cortina had damp snow. The groomed runs remained in good condition still. 2 girls from Ishikawa gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” They said they would participate in “SNOW ANGEL CAMP” for 2 days.
[Ikenota]
16012803_cortinaThe groomed slope of Rabbit Course was nicely firm and Snake Course was nice as well. I found people moving to Snake Course after seeing Kamoshika Course ungroomed.
[Rabbit Course]
16012804_cortinaIkenota and Ippon-matsu Course were flat and firm well. Today, I met much more Japaneses than people from abroad because there was not good snowfall yesterday. The blue sky started to spread at 9:30 a.m. and it looked to get better and better.
