The biggest Kid’s Park in Hakuba Valley was open. After open at 9 a.m. many families came enjoying sled and snow. “Fuwa-fuwa balloon” was also popular after 10 a.m. 1-day pass (1,500JPY, except for kid’s snowmobile land) is recommended to play Kid’s Park for all day.

The snow in the sled course was firm I could sled with speed. Kid’s Park is admission free and rental sled is available for 300JPY per hour.

Ikenota was hard groomed condition and there were some snow balls this morning. Rabbit course was non-groomed and there were many irregular big and small bumps. And also there were thin snow area.

This the three generations of family were coming to Cortina every season. They were enjoying the ski & snowboards five days and four nights from Dec. 31 to Jan. 4. I thought snow will become soft after temperature rises.
