It snowed so much on 24th, 28th, and today as well. And thanks to that we had beautiful powdery snow today. There was a long line for No. 4 Lift and I felt people were exciting about the snow.

The heavy snow started snowing from since yesterday became calm at 8:30 a.m. People quickly went down to powder snow areas such like Mt. Hieda 1 and self-responsibility area. I heard people were editing and shouting about the beautiful 50cm powder snow everywhere.

Though I felt the bumpy grounding, the fresh snow was lighter so I enjoyed the feeling as if I were floating on the snow. It did not matter that the slope had ski tracks. While the advanced skiers were going down making a spray of snow, the beginners and intermediates were trying to make their way with being stuck in the deep fluffy snow.

In contrast to upper parts, the atmosphere in Ikenota was very calm and gentle. The slope was moderately soft and flat so it was ideal condition for the beginners and families. Around 10 a.m., there was surprisingly long wait line at the ticket shop, and also the parking area for the day trip customers were full.
