Thanks to the good snow from the last night, Ipponmatsu Course is open again today!! It was still snowing heavily after opening as well and 5cm fresh snow was on the soft groomed slope. I met many people with outfits for back country skiing like 3 skiers from Gifu and Toyama Pref.

Long-awaited powdery snow has come!! The amount of the fresh snow was over 40cm in the upper parts and I could enjoy a feel of floating when I skied into it. Especially in Itadaira Course, the slope under the fresh snow was very flat in spite of that the course was not groomed, so we could jumped into there with all our might.

While the opening of No.2 Quad was late because of the safety ensuring, people got on the lift as soon as it was open one after another and No.4 Pair had a long line soon. I heard shouts of joy from everywhere and saw people going down with snow spray raised over their head. The bumpy slope of Mt. Hieda Course 1 was also covered with fresh snow.

People frp, Yamanashi and Tokyo Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” The slopes of Ikenota and Mt. Hieda Forest Course were groomed so well that I could feel the comfortable touch of powdery snow. No.3 Quad was also open at 10:30 a.m. and Rabbit and Kamoshika Courses were open! Besides, night skiing will be available from today in Ikenota (5:00 p.m.－8:00 p.m.)!
