Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy & Sunny2020.Jul.22
More and more flowers of Nikkokisuge are starting to bloom this week. In Watasuge Marsh (Photo), “70 to 80%” of Nikkokisuge opened their petals, especially along the wooden paths and in the north side of the marsh. Those flowers and the fresh green leaves made the typical summer views there.

In Ukishima Marsh located in the upper area, we could see about 70% of Nikkokisuge blooming. They placed close to the wooden paths mainly, so we could enjoy taking photos of them very comfortably. Watasuge which had unique white cotton flowers was in its peak season. In the most further part of Ukishima Marsh, Watasuge and Nikkokisuge showed us their amazing collaborations (Photo).

We had much more clouds on the mountain than the weather forecast said. However, that kept the temperature good and cool enough to trek around or take a chill time on the benches. By the way, Tsugaike Panorama Way starts its operation at 6:30 a.m. on the holidays and weekends from 23rd (Thu) of July to 16th of August (Sun).

We could see more Hiougiayame in Mizubasho Marsh and Kurumayuri which is starting to bloom along the way to Ukishima Marsh as well. Momijikaramatsu was also getting into its good season. There were also other cute alpine flowers of Ohyoutanboku, Onishimotsuke, Karamatsusou, Gozentachibana, Tateyamarindo and Enreisou.
