Hakuba Oike / Sunny 2019.Oct.31

19103101_tsugaike I went on a day trip to Hakuba Oike on the last day of summer business at Tsugaike Panorama Way. After the first snowfall on October 22nd (Sun), there was snow for two consecutive days on October 28th (Monday) and October 29th (Tuesday), and the whiteness near the ridgeline of Hakuba Sanzan increased. However, Tsugaike Nature Park, which should be pure white in normal , was a view of late autumn where coniferous greenery and white trunks of dakekamba stand out.

19103102_tsugaikeAlthough it was once caught up by the gas that began to rise from the hail early in the morning, it slipped over the clouds at an altitude of 2,000m, and after that it became a mountain line under the blue sky. At 8:40, the temperature at Tsugaike Visitor Center is + 7.8 ℃. I felt warm with the help of the sun, but there was ice all over the pond in Tengubara (altitude 2,200m).

19103103_tsugaikeThere were few climbers aiming for Hakuba Oike because the autumn leaves were completely over. The broad-leaved trees on the eastern slope of Hakuba Norikura are just trunks and branches, and coupled with the large rocky color of the rocks, the mountain path felt like a route leading to a different dimension of the world.

19103104_tsugaikeNagano Prefectural Nature Conservation Rangers, who have been climbing together, should say, “I’ve come to the last round because the Tsugaike Panorama Way is over today. See you in the mountains again next season!” It was. On the way, they were collecting trash falling in the back of the rocks.

19103105_tsugaikeI didn’t step on snow until I reach Hakuba Oike (2,379m above sea level). At around 12:30, when the northerly wind became stronger, it suddenly got colder and I felt that winter was just coming. Well, today is the last report for this season. Thank you very much for watching.
