Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy & Sunny 2018.Jun.01

18060101_tsugaikeThe gondola was open at 8 a.m. and ropeway was open at 8:30 a.m. and Tsugaike Nature Park has started the summer operation. It was cloudy in the early morning and the temperature was low as of +11 °C and I felt chilly even I wore a jacket. The clouds started to broke up from around 10 a.m. and the clear blue sky started to spread.

18060102_tsugaikeThe snow is thawing a week earlier than usual, but still about 100 cm of snow was remained in the park. We must walk on the snow, and the route was marked with a pink ribbon. There were 6 holes in Mizubasho Marsh and Mizubasho was already blooming.

18060103_tsugaikeThe bloom condition of the Mizubasho was different by the timing of the thawing and there were various ones from small to big. Also, Shirane-aoi (Japanese wood poppy) was blooming in-front of the visitor center. A staff told me that Shirane-aoi in Yase-one was already started to bloom.
