Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy2017.Jul.26
It has been rainy and cloudy recently. The sky was covered with thick clouds as well this morning and the alpine flowers were wet with dew. In each marsh, the number of Hiougiayame is increasing gradually and especially, the colonies in Mizubasho Marsh were beautiful.

The temperature remained about 20 degrees and the air was cool as if a natural air-conditioner was working. During trekking, I saw some people wearing long-sleeve shirts. The fog got more and more thick as I went forward and it sometimes drizzled.

In Ukishima Marsh, Kurumayuri (Photo) started to bloom after Hiougiayame and Nikkokisuge. The big orange petals were very impressive even in the vast marsh. Besides, there were also tall flowers, such as Otakarakou and Karamatsusou.

In the trails between marshes, I found cute small flowers. Ginryusou, a white and clear small flower, was blooming in the shades from Watasuge Marsh to Ukishima Marsh. After that, I arrived at Tenbou Marsh at 8:40 a.m, the peaks of Northern Alps were already behind the clouds.

The summer vacation season has already started, so I met a lot of groups. When I got on the ropeway at 10:00 a.m, there was a long line at the moutain-foot station. By the way, “Treasure Hunting” is held for children under 13 years old until Aug. 31 (Thu) in the nature park.
