Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy2017.Jul.13

17071301_tsugaikeThe rain from this dawn stopped at around 6:00 a.m. and a lot of clouds remained in the sky just after the gondola was open. The sunlight was blocked off and it was a little foggy and breezy, so I felt cool this morning. In Tsuga-no-mori which has an elevation of 1,600m, Nikkokisuge started to bloom after Hiougiayame.

17071302_tsugaikeMiyamakinpouge and Shinanokinbai in Mizubasho Marsh and Chinguruma in Watasuge Marsh are in their peak now. Beside, there were big leaves of Kobaikeisou along the wooden path in Watasuge Marsh.

17071303_tsugaikeIn the forest between marshes, Kinugasasou and Sankayou bloomed beautifully. I found the colonies of Maizurusou (Photo) in the shades and the small flowers were very cute. Shiraneaoi in the trail from Kusugawa River to Ukishima Marsh passed its peak, but they were still worth seeing.

17071304_tsugaikeWe could see the blue sky through the breaks of clouds and the soft sunlight was cast sometimes, but the sky got more overcast after 10:00 a.m. Not only in Tsuga-no-mori and Watasuge Marsh, Nikkokisuge was blooming in Ukishima Marsh. I found Iwaichou in the fresh green marsh as well.

17071305_tsugaikeI saw a staff of Hakuba Highland Hotel. She posed me with the guests of trekking tour held by the hotel. The Hotel holds the regular trekking tours only for hotel members and Happo-one tours will be held in September.
