Over 10 days have been past from the last report. In these days, we had a heavy rain for 5 days and the snow got melting greatly, so all of the wooden path is open now. However, there is still much remaining snow in this season and Kinugasasou (Photo) and Enreisou just started to bloom around Fuketsu.

Usually, the season of Mizubasho finishes by July, but we can see the white flowers still now. Especially, the colonies of Mizubasho in Watasuge Marsh was so beautiful that a lot of people stopped to take photos and see carefully.

In some parts where the snow is melting slowly, the flowers of Spring and beginning of Summer season were still blooming, while the summer flowers, such as Chinguruma, Shinanokinbai (Photo), Kinpouge and Gozentachibana, are already in full bloom in the other parts where the snow thawed soon.

When I looked up, the contrast between the white remaining snow and fresh green trees were very beautiful. The rainy season still lasts, so the air has a lot of moisture and the clouds gathers soon, however, we could enjoy the special atmosphere only in the highland which is located over 2,000 meters high.

During trekking in the nature park, I walked on the snow again and again. Iwaichou and Hakusankozakura will bloom in a long while in the small snowy valley (Photo) before Tenbou Marsh. At 9:30 a.m. when I got to Tenbou Marsh, the peaks of Northern Alps were already covered with the clouds.
