Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny2016.Oct.31
On Oct. 29 (Sat), it changed into snowy in the afternoon. Not only the upper part from Tenguppara, but also Tsugaike Nature Park had a snowfall. The snow still remained on the wooden paths and marshea in the shades today as well. Especially, the wooden path aorund Fuketsu was very slippy and I found some people going back because of the frost.
[Mizubasho Marsh, Tsugaike Nature Park]
The weather got better and better after 9:oo a.m. and the calm blue sky spread out with the warm sunlight. Tsugaike Nature Park welcomed us the warm atmosphere and it seemed to be like “the last gift” before Winter.
[Watasuge Marsh, Tsugaike Nature Park]
Only few snow remained in the further part from Watasuge Marsh, so we did not had problems during trekking. The view from Tenbou Marsh was of course nice and the birches made a beautiful view with Hakuba Peaks.
[Yase-one, Tsugaike Nature Park]
Tsugaike Visitor Center, the entrance of Tsugaike Nature Park, was closed in this season because of renovation. It will be started the pre-operation on June 1 (Thu) and be open officially on Aug. 1 (Tue). It will have new rest rooms and guests can take a rest comfortably even in the bad weather. Bouldering wall will be newly put on and the displays can be searched by electronic panels.
[Tsugaike Visitor Center]
The bridge on Kusu-gawa River had been removed. The marshes and mountains will be turned into wintry looks in a month. Today is the last day of summer operation of Tsugaike Nature Park and this is the last trekking report of Tsugaike. Thank you for your support and cheers!
