Fall is coming gradually in Tsugaike Nature Park. The summer season is very short in the mountains and the leaves turn into red and yellow from mid-Sep. The autumn tints are very beautiful in late Sep.－early Oct. It was drizzling in this morning, but the weather got better from 8:30 a.m. However, the sky was gloomy after that.

Because the weather forecast said it would be rainy and the typhoon was traveling toward Japan, so I met a little people. The temperature was 20 degrees and I could walk comfortably. Of course I got sweaty during climbing up, but just a 5-minute-rest cooled me down.

Some leaves of Dakekanba turned into yellow and Nanakamado changed its some parts into red. Along the path from Ukishima Marsh to Yase-one, there were colonies of Gozentachibana. The bright red seeds made a good contrast with its green leaves.

I heard the drops of water falling down from the trembling leaves just after the rain. The temperature did not get higher anymore today, but it was very humid, so a shirt with long sleeves was enough to me.

During climbing down, I saw Akebonosou around the summit station of the gondola. This flower blooms when Summer starts to pass off. It gave a sign of Fall in the mountains.
