The rainy season has been over on July 28 (Thu.) in Kanto Koshinetsu Region and on July 29 (Fri.) in Tohoku Region. However, there is still a stationary front over Hokkaido and it brings the muggy and overcast weather. Today, it was forecast to be rainy partly cloudy, so some people were trekking with umbrellas.

In the west part of Kusu-gawa River, Oyamarindo put out buds earlier than usual. Especially around Ginmeisui, it looks so cute with morning dew. The water of Ginmeisui was so cold and I heard people saying, “We cannot put my hands in the river even for a while!”.

While the sun cast the sunlight sometimes, but it was very cool. Most of people wore their long-sleeve T-shirts and shirts. The temperature was much lower than that of the mountain foot, so it was better to bring extra clothes.

I found Ginryusou on the way to the ropeway after trekking. Around 9:30 a.m, more and more people visited the nature park, and the lovely white flower attracted their attention.

Not only flowers of summer, but also those of late-summer and fall, such as Miyamaakinokirinsou (photo), Iwashobu and Onishigama were coming out already. The trend of this year, “2-week-earlier blooming than usual” is still lasting, but it does not matter to enjoying various alpine flowers fully.
