Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny2016.Oct.14

16101401_tsugaikeThanks to the high pressure system, we had a fine day in Hakuba. The first snow had fallen on Mt. Hakuba, so it would not get warm like today after this. We could see beautiful Autumn tints in the peak from Tsugaike Gondola Lift, but the the leaves started to fall from the trees along Tsugaike Ropeway.

On the way to Hakuba Oike Big Pond, there were birch trees which had lost there all leaves already. The sun was casting the strong sunlight, but it was blowing a chilly wind, so I needed my jacket during stopping and taking a rest.

Though today was a fine day, I met only a few people during trekking. Actually, now is a good season for mountaineering…. I could see the clear peaks of Mt. Amakazari, Mt. Hiuchi and Mt. Myoko from the trails.

When I reached the ridge, Mt. Korenge which had snow on the north face and Mt. Hakuba welcomed me. The weather was so fine, but it was very cold like the winter season.
