Sanosaka / ◎130cm / Sunny2021.Mar.11
We had a calm sunny day. An instructor of Hakuba Sanosaka Snowboard School gave me a greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! I got a break due to the cancellation of a lesson, so I am trying my new snowboard. Now, the snow is getting softer quickly because of the warm weather, so our school has more bookings of ground tricks now.”
[Curving]
The groomed slope of Curving Area was in melted corn snow condition. The wet snow layer was not too soft, so we could enjoy riding at high speed without getting edges going into snow too deeply. The slopes got busy very lately, so they remained fresh for a long time.

Both of Lake Down Course which was in melted corn snow condition and Family Area which was smooth were good for cruising. A couple from Osaka who were taking a lesson of Schneeberg Tele-mark & Alpen Ski School talked, “This is our first time to come to Hakuba Sanosaka. Now is a good timing to take a lesson because it was not too busy.”

In Paradise Area which had a smooth groomed slope, an instructor of Hakuba Sanosaka Snowboard School (Second from the left on photo) talked, “I always enjoy your reports. This is a lesson for experts to improve their riding more.” Paradise Downhill kept its nicely firm slope of corn snow for a long time thanks to the shades of trees.
