I entered the Castle Plaza after using hand sanitizer and chacking body temperature at the entrance. I hesitated to enter the lobby with my snowy boots on because it had gotten really clean (pictured). Hakuba Sanosaka Snow Resort is taking strict measures to prevent the spread of the Covid-19. For your information, advanced one-day tickets are available for purchase up to three days before skiing/snowboarding. Advanced booking is also avaialble for ski/snowboard rental up to three days before.

The gentle northerly wind brought dry snow. There was three to four centimeters of new snow on the groomed runs of Paradise, Paradise Downhill, New Paradise (pictured), Lake Down, Family, and Carving Slope. I went straight down to Caster Plaza after getting off the New Paradise lift, which began its operation on time at 8:30 am.
[New Paradise Slope]
The groomed Carving Slope was blanketed with three to four centimeters of new snow. Hakuba Sanosaka Snow Resort has superior technology on snow-grooming, even after it was absorbed by another company in 2018. I enjoyed slashing the powdery snow on the flat run.

I had a great time in Lake Down Course (pictured) this morning, although I could not see Lake Aoki. The white scenery was so beautiful, and there were only a few people. If you visit Hakuba Sanosaka, don’t miss the quad lift because it’s really deep and comfortable.
