Sanosaka / ◎70cm / Sunny2020.Jan.06
The whole slope of Hakuba Sanosaka opened on January 5 (Sun)! “We arrived in the early morning. It’s a good idea to come on a weekday to avoid crowds, isn’t it?”, a snowboarder coming from Ueda and another coming from Nagano City, Nagano said. The snow was thoroughly compacted, soft and nice at New Paradise Slope, although there were some short bushes exposed.

By the way, Family Slope and Lake Down Course are dog-friendly. “We’re excited about this snowfall. We’re coming with our dog, Cona, today.” a couple coming from Tokyo said. You can purchase a ticket for your dog (2,200 yen/day) at the ticket office in front of No.3 Quad station.

Paradise Slope was wide, flat, and nicely firm. At Paradise Downhill Course, the snow was firm at the top and middle area, while it was hard at the bottom. Carving Sloope was compacted, too. (※There were some bushes exposed though.)
