It was a warm Sunday. As of 10 a.m. the snow surface of Curving Slope was became soft for one to two cm and below that was nicely firm. It was easy to make turns with speed.

There were many people with their dogs in Lake Down Course and Family Slope. There are ticket office at bottom station of No.3 Quad and dog ticket (JPY2,000/day) is available there. The ticket is available at Lake Down Course and Family Slope. Also available at restaurant “Capella” on the weekends.

Lake Down Course was melted soft because of the morning sun and the snow bit wet. But the snow under surface was nicely firm and I could make turns comfortably to Family Slope.

Kids of Cross Ski Team “ATTENTION” was practicing at cross course in the skier’s right of Lake Down Course. Mr. Tsukada, the organizer, said, “Children from 3 y/o to 13 y/o are come from all over Japan and practicing here.”
