There were some blue sky areas but always slight clouds in front of the sun. There was almost no wind and the temperature was high like spring. Visitors came early this morning and there were a lot of people in slopes, especially in Ikenoda Slope from early time.

Mt. Hieda Forest Couse had been groomed well with some muddy granular snow, and we could cruise there comfortably. A couple from Chiba talked to us, “We give up to slide down in Mt. Hieda Course 1 bucause it looks too hard for us..”

But we could enjoy sliding in Mt. Hieda Forest Course 1 more than we expected. At the early stage, there some random moguls but they were muudy and soft. At the middle, there were small ups and downs at the skiers’ right and some moguls at the skiers’ left. And the condition of snow was ‘crispy’ at the last stage (photo).

“We will enjoy sliding in Cortina for 2days.” A couple from Tokyo talked to us. It was also good to slide down in Itadaira Course with groomed snow. Wide Ikenoda Slope became muddy with crispy snow around 10:30.
