Kashimayari / ◎135cm / Sunny2019.Mar.25
The sunshine was warm, and it was a perfect day for spring skiing/snowboarding. It was a bit misty, however, Mt. Kashimaayari and Mt. Jiigatake looked amazing and I saw some people taking scenic photos at Course 5-A (shown in the photo) and Kurosawa Slope. Many people arrived late today and Chuo Slope was filled with a relaxed atmosphere.
[Course 5-A]
The flat Course 5-A and Kurosawa Slope were covered with firm granular snow. It was amazing and I felt like skiing down again and again. Meanwhile at Ipponbuna Downhill Course, the compacted granular snow was firm around the starting area, however, it got melted and soft at the middle and last area.
[Course 5-A]
There were nine waves on the Maruyama Slope side of VESP PARK. I saw children and beginners trying them as usual, as it is gentle and easy to go.
[Course 1: Toomi Grand View C]
The top and last area of Course 1-B and C was nicely firm, while the steep slope in the middle was getting melted in the sunshine. I saw some people taking off their jackets and only wearing hoodies, as the sunshine gradually got stronger.
