Kashima Yari / ○70cm / Snowy2018.Dec.30
The peak of the major cold in the end of this year has almost finished and it snowed much weaker. But our hands and feet got cold as we weren’t active on the lift while it was snowing quietly in the cold morning. Pepe gathered early because of the New Year holiday in the order of Kurosawa, Kashima and Maruyama.
[Course 7 : Maruyama Slope]
The 1st quad was open at 9a.m.with the announcement “As soon as preparations have been made..” The people tired of waiting got on in one and another. With the open of 1-A, B and C, The all 10 courses are available in Kashimayari Slope!
[The 1st quad lift]
The area to the middle of 1-C has not been compacted yet so we enjoyed the floating feeling with more than 40cm powdered snow. 1-A and 1-B were really compacted. We could enjoy turning again and again as we please with the edges catching the crow.
[Course 1: Tomi grand view B・C]
In Maruyama Slope for the beginners and intermediates, there is no bush as like Kurosawa, Kashima and 1-B・C so it was nice to slide. (※ There are some bushes in 1-A, Honbuna and Nakatsuka) There was some seniors warming up in the early morning. The course leading to the last stage of 1-C was also compacted so two courses are available with the 7nd pair lift only.
